Dear JCA Members,
Since established in 1996, Jacksonville Chinese Association has quickly become an active and important force contributing to the local community, Asian community and Chinese community in North Florida.
Toady, we are very pleased to announce the election results of three (3) new JCA Leadership teams, effective on Sept. 20, 2008.

Congratulation to the above newly elected leaders of JCA who are willing to make commitment in servicing JCA members and leading JCA organization to a new and higher level. We also greatly appreciate the great effort, service and contribution from 第十-届理事会 of JCA Executive Committee and newly retired board directors, Deng, Zhu (邓竹), Xiaozhong Liao (廖孝中), Robert Lu (吕华坚) and Frank Lin (林闽森) as well as many former JCA leaders and members who have made great contribution.
Together, JCA will continue to make more positive impacts to our own community and the city of Jacksonville, where we live and work.

The Mission of the JACKSONVILLE CHINESE ASSOCIATION:
- Further strengthen the cultural exchanges between China and America and advocate the education of the Chinese language.
- Maintain the current achievements and further develop our Chinese School.
- Get actively involved in organizations under the city government that pertain to cultural and trade development with China, strengthen the influence of our association in Jacksonville and assist the various government branches in their efforts to develop cultural and trade relations with China.
- Promote the mutual understanding and friendship with local American people and strengthen the communication and unity among the local Chinese communities through art and sports activities.
- Attract financial assistance from all sources while actively developing the cultural and educational exchanges in order to accumulate funds for the further development and growth of our association and further deepen the communication and exchange activities between the association membership and Chinese scholars and students, teaching professionals and Chinese government officials.
