Dear JCA members, friends and donors,

We are pleased to inform you that merely a few days JCA have successfully raised $9,520.27 committed donations including future company match as of today. This is another great effort of JCA organization who quickly takes leadership role leading this fundraising effort to help our motherland in North Florida communities.

The donors include JCA members, JCA friends, JCA Chinese School Students, teachers, parents and many donors who would like to donate their money directly to Chinese Red Cross Society through JCA, a non profit 501(c)(3) organization which is also listed by Johnson & Johnson gift match program.

Please spread the words to your relatives, friends and co-workers why they should donate their contribution through JCA.

JCA is a reliable non-profit organization and is recognized for tax exemption by IRS under the 501(c)(3) code. Individual and corporate donations are tax deductible. If your company has a gift matching program, JCA is eligible for such a program. JCA will send a receipt for donor's tax record.

Unlike most big name charities, JCA is 100% run by volunteers. Therefore it has ZERO-overhead and minimal operation expense (payment processing). As a result, almost 100% of your donation will go to the victims of earthquake in China.

Our donation process is open to public and you can easily view and track your donation on official website (www.usjca.org) of JCA. It may take up to 3-5 days for updating the list of donors since we are all fund raising volunteers without any compensation.

Specially, we would like to thank JCA Chinese School students, teachers and parents who helped raising a total of $3,263.27 committed amount within an hour today. Students, including little kids, alone donated $283.27 cash from their little pockets. You may view photos and videos shortly from JCA website www.usjca.org We also want to thank Chinese friends at J&J who spent hours studying JCA organization through their own research and search and concluded that JCA is one of very few reliable non-profit organizations listed and approved by J&J who can maximize their donation contributions directly to earthquake victims in China through J&J gift matching (1:2) program. These J&J donors who do not live and work in Jacksonville include Bin Lin, Chengbin Lin and Lixia Pei, etc.

Additionally, we would like to recognize Kai Wang and Lily Wang who kindly donated $1,000 to JCA - China Earthquake Relief today. Finally, we thank all donors who have made their contribution through other sources. And we know some members and friends have made multiple donations through different sources and organizations to aid the victims in China. Thank YOU!

Every dollar counts. We continuously welcome your contribution since a re-building process after earthquake could be a long process requiring. We want to let our countrymen know that we care about them. We want to let China, our motherland, know that we care and LOVE China. China needs our help now.

In China, over 50,000 people have perished and tens of thousands more are still missing after the 7.9 grade earthquake. Please spread the words and send personal e-mail to your relatives, friends, your co-workers, your companies and your bosses that there are a few things that they may help the victims of China's earthquake. Please encourage them to visit JCA website www.usjca.org. There are several reliable donation sources listed for our donors. If you want to maximize your donation directly to the victims in China, we highly suggest you to donate your contribution through JCA. See www.usjca.org for details.

We also want to see more members and friends, like Chinese American associates working at Vistakon, J&J Vision Care, Inc., take leadership roles leading and organizing company wide fundraising activities. In additional to local Chinese communities, we need to raise fund from all sources. We need your help and the victims in China need your help as well.

In addition to your donation and your suggestions/ideas, we also need more volunteers to join us to raise more money for China. No experience is necessary since we only need your BIG Heart and your true love to China.
